The investment
The investment to start a Berlitz franchise varies depending on the region of the world you are interested in, the size of the center and the market conditions:

 

For Latin America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe (including the Baltic States) and Africa the initial investment is $ 150,000-$ 300,000, which includes a $ 40,000 franchise fee.

 

For Asia, the Middle East, Russia and former Soviet Republics (excluding the Baltic States), the investment range is $ 170,000 - $ 370,000, which includes a $ 50,000 franchise fee.

 

The projected investment includes start-up and operational costs for the first two years. The financial plan a candidate creates will indicate the total investment needed.
